Sun Bear Biofuture was born in 2022 out of a desire to use modern science and technology to have a meaningful environmental impact. We are reimagining farming to produce everyday essentials more sustainably. We’re starting by using synthetic biology, precision fermentation and machine learning to produce an alternative to palm oil. Why? Well, it’s responsible for over 500m tonnes of CO2e annually and has had a huge impact on the planet.

 

Sun Bear Biofuture has recently raised investment to grow our fantastic team. Our focus is very much in the lab and we’re looking for talented and exceptional people to join us on our mission.
